Emergency Response Team (ERT)
Our EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (ERT) provides Chapter members and the
community with sound preparedness and planning practices that aid us in remaining
safe by alleviating the impact of an emergency or disaster.
MISSION
The mission of the SJAC Emergency Response Team is to provide and assist chapter
members and the community with:
∙Training and awareness about preparedness activities.
∙Resources and guidance for those impacted by natural or man-made disasters.
∙Effective communication strategies to facilitate preparedness, response and
recovery efforts.
∙Coordination of the Chapter’s Emergency Response Plan, which is used for
Chapter and Chapter sponsored events that may result in the need for First Aid
for injuries or illnesses, sheltering in place, or safe evacuation from location.
