Arts and Letters

The Arts and Letters Commission is responsible for exposing and educating the chapter and the community about the creative and performing arts. The programs developed are designed to promote awareness and appreciation for various forms of the arts. The chapter has adopted the Morgan Village Creative Arts Academy in Camden, New Jersey and supports them financially by providing scholarships and attending their performances.

Some activities planned for this year are:

• Kwanzaa Celebration with the Delta Academy and Delta GEMS
• View an African American movie as a chapter
• Book discussion by a current African American author
• Provide an “Osceola Award” to a deserving Creative Arts High School graduate
• Host a Celebrity Artist’s work
